Caring Community Series event 2 is Oct 22 at 6:30 p.m. at Nicollet Middle School

Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 is proud to continue the Caring Community Series, a four-event series designed to support the well-being of One91 students and families.

The second session will take place Oct. 22 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Nicollet Middle School, 400 E. 134th St. in Burnsville. National expert Erin Walsh, co-founder of Spark & Stitch Institute, will present "It's Complicated: Kids, Social Media and Mental Health." The presentation is open to all One91 families.

At each event in the Caring Community Series, families will be provided resources, support and information around a variety of pressing issues, including online safety, mental health, bullying, and navigating children's emotional growth and development. Each session will feature a guest speaker and opportunities for discussion with other One91 families.

“We’re excited to introduce the Caring Community Series as part of our commitment to fostering a nurturing and supportive environment for our students and their families,” said Assistant Superintendent Chris Bellmont. “These events are designed to provide practical, research-based strategies that will help our students thrive both academically and emotionally. By coming together as a community, we can make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our students.”
