We know that students learn best when they feel safe and part of a supportive community. Through our SOAR program (Succeed, Organize, Archive and Reach), we help students reach their goals and reward them for modeling SOAR traits every day.
Commitment to the Environment
We pride ourselves on teaching and practicing respect for our environment. Our students are leaders in the school when it comes to our energy efficiency efforts and our recycling/composting program.
Instructional Technology
Today’s powerful technology has become ubiquitous in classrooms throughout the country, including at Sky Oaks Elementary. Our teachers have invested time in researching what technology makes the biggest difference in the achievement of our students and have shared that knowledge with colleagues.
